ERM Immigration was founded by managing attorney, Emily Reber-Mariniello, in May of 2012 in San Francisco, California. We have now relocated to Seattle, from where we represent clients in U.S. immigration matters from all over the country and world.

Our Paralegals

Tammi Murray
Paralegal

Tammi has over 20 years of experience in the legal field, initially in intellectual property. After volunteering at immigration advocacy groups, Tammi reevaluated her career priorities and transitioned to immigration law. She joined ERM as a legal assistant in September of 2021 and quickly advanced to Paralegal and Office Manager a few months later. Tammi brings with her a professional background of 20 years in intellectual property law, eight years in the tech industry, and just under a year supporting an immigrant assistance program. As a volunteer, Tammi has been involved with development projects in Kenya and Uganda and with immigration advocacy and refugee resettlement efforts locally. Tammi currently focuses on humanitarian relief, including asylum, temporary protected status (TPS), humanitarian parole, and DACA. She also supports the attorneys in their family-based and immigration court matters.

Renee Wilbur
Paralegal

Renee has been an immigration paralegal since August 2020 and joined ERM in the Summer of 2022. She began working as a legal assistant at an Immigration law firm in Minneapolis and has continued this work in Seattle. Before she began her legal career, she was an international school teacher In Mexico and Lebanon. Renee’s paralegal experience includes working with immigrant and non-immigrant petitions, family-based AOS applications, U-visa applications, work permit applications, asylum petitions, TN Visas, consular processing, and hardship waivers. She also has experience with doing client intake, writing affidavits, preparing trial exhibits, maintaining files, and supporting attorneys and clients. Her strong people skills, genuine attentiveness, and the high quality of her legal work make her an excellent addition to ERM Immigration Law.

Alejandra Flores
Paralegal

Alejandra has been a paralegal specializing in immigration law for the past six years at prominent firms. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. She has experience in a variety of family- and humanitarian-based immigration matters, as well as immigration court litigation. She is looking forward to further expanding her experience into employment-based matters. Alejandra’s extensive professional and personal experience with immigration is a complementary addition to our team, ensuring a positive experience while you are working with ERM Immigration. Alejandra enjoys spending her time off with her two beautiful daughters.
